The most beautiful decision I made in my life was when I decided to leave the land of kufr and go to the land of Islam, the only land that judged according to the law of Allah subhanahu wa taala… Thanks to Allah who guided me to the right path, so that I understood what jihad means in the true sense of that word…
Just before leaving to Syria, I was obsessed with reading about the Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihi wa salam and his Companions and their way of life, which changed everything in me. I realized that Allah requires from us complete dedication and complete entry into the religion and this cannot be achieved until you sacrifice what you love most and follow in the footsteps of the Companions… and the greatest sacrifice is to leave your homeland (Darul Kufr) and everything you have for the sake of Allah. And this verse left the strongest impression on me:
`And those who strive for Us – we will surely guide them to Our ways.
And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good. `
(29:69 Surah Al-`Ankabut)
I watched videos where the al-Assad regime was killing innocent Muslims and their children, I couldn’t stop the tears, I felt guilty and I had a strong desire to go and help the oppressed Muslims. Thank Allah, I am a nurse, and I knew that my work was very much needed there, so I firmly decided to go and do my best to help the innocent children, whose blood was being shed while all the taghoot lands watched without any mercy.
I set out on a path that eventually led me to captivity… But I did not repent because everything I did was for the sake of Allah’s pleasure.
To be continued…
